My wife and I have enjoyed over 30 MTR stays in the past 48 months, most of them for 1-3 months.I agree completely with both your "Worth the investment" and your "Not worth splurging on" lists, with the possible exception of "Premium cookware!"

Use your home field advantage, it's worth at least 20% - even going to Milwaukee (which is a slightly better market) makes you an OOS investor and that more than eats up the small benefit.
