Hey Li, my good friend works for a hard money fund that specializes In OCC bridge loans up in Mainly Marin county, but the general bay area as well.

This is the first time I've ever heard of Cross-Collateralization.

But I would highly advise getting a consultation or advice from a cross border tax specialist versus getting some random half-baked answers on a real estate forum.

If I could still contribute or had started it earlier before crossing the threshold, then I would definitely leave it alone.
