ITs a huge lake biggest in CA within the state borders 125 miles around 10 miles wide etc etc .. so probably no less than 200 mom and pop resorts that were built turn of the century into the 40s.. much like the mid west..

Roof lines and basements in century old properties can sometimes hide costly surprises, so strong inspections are key.

The outcome was great.. they secured a mid-century home with a rental unit that offered both a comfortable living space and a reliable income stream.On a personal note, a friend of mine made a bold move and purchased in a slightly less popular area.

the reality is historically San Diego has had better cash flow for long holds than every Midwest city as its rent growth is near top in the nation for this century. 

I see Century Communities has updated their site map with more lots they have bought from D32.

According to neighborhoodscout, Sacramento residential values has increased 264% for this century (9 out of 10 nationally).  

I recently toured a property that had an excellent mid century vibe and by no means was it updated!

Note this century had the tech bomb, GFC, Covid.  

I do have a very nice set of mid century modern bedroom furniture from an estate sale that I bought a house through; the furniture is probably worth several thousand dollars as it was flawless, handmade in the early 50s out of high quality solid birch (most birch is veneer).
