My primary interest is to find a large two-family home with a high peak / high pitch attic (12/12 is ideal) with a roof design that could support a large one-bedroom apartment.In certain towns that I’ve searched, converting / expanding multi-family homes is explicitly encouraged by the local P&Z.

Many of the folks on our handyman crew live in sober living and they've encouraged me to pursue it.

I would love to have some words of encouragement and see who is out here in my area.

It's not like they have a choice (which in my opinion is the whole idea about a free market society).
