I hired an agent!

Finally. I interviewed several agents several weeks to a month ago. None had seen the house because it was not ready to be seen.
I showed the house to one agent 5 days ago, let him know I was interviewing agents. Showed it this morning to another agent, and hired her. I called the man from last week and told him I hired someone else,
What is my duty to the other agents--the others from a month or so ago? They did know work and cleaning needed done before they saw it.
Do agents expect homeowners to call them to let them know if someone else was hired for the job they interviewed for?
And since I did not hire them, would it be out of line for me to call on one of them to show me houses to buy? Would they work with me? Is that too much to ask? There are two that I would probably like to work with in that capacity.
