Hi group, preparing for the sale of my home in Mt. Vernon,  Ny. Hubby and I have done a gang of reno to it but more cosmetic work needs to be done. It's not quite a fixer upper but not sure who we should market to. Would we lose significantly by not finishing the work or are we losing out by not pitching to investors now? Thoughts please. It's 3 bed 2.5 bath (above grade) finished basement Yada Yada lol

In my opinion, it's best to complete the project and then try to sell the property to a retail buyer who is going to give you the top dollar. If you do have the renovation half done and try to sell the house then your return on the money spend for renovations so far will not return much since probably end up selling to a investor.   You could try to sell it with owner financing (for a higher amount than selling to investor) to someone that is willing to put some sweat equity in the property.
