What's the general take on this area of the city? Possibly one of the next big areas of development along with Stanton Heights?

Morningside is a nice area.   however there is a lot of competition for Property.   I suggest focusing on finding off market deals so you are not competing with the hoards of buyers.   Stanton heights is a mixed bag.  In general the homes are cheaply constructed track homes from the 60-70's.   There are lots of renters so it may keep values lower for a long time.
