Texas Foreclosure Auctions - Buying in Trust Name

John Clarke
Posted

Hey BP valued members

I am planning to go to few county foreclosure auctions in Texas to buy few homes in the near future, I have a trust already in place written up by an attorney, will I be able to title/deed these houses that I will potentially own in the trust's name, without having to involve spouse, i.e. without having their name on title/docs, involving them in process, etc.? Obviously will be paying cash for these homes.

For the reference I am married living in Texas, l created a trust while ago, I solely control the trust, there are currently no homes deeded to this trust, am asking because I realize when people buy homes through lender/normal process, both spouses need to be on the title/deed (unless one spouse signs quit claim, etc.). My goal is to have everything in trust name, with me only controlling all related transactions.
