Commercial General Liability Insurance

Hi all !

I am new to this forum and would like to ask a short question. Maybe someone can help me.

I own 3 single family homes (Florida) as investments / long term rentals. All 3 homes are insured with fire/dwelling (DP3) insurance. Personal Liability limit is $300.000. Recently I got a a Commercial General Liability Insurance policy to further protect the properties.

General Aggregate
(Other than Products-Completed Operations): $4,000,000
Products-Completed Operations Aggregate: $4,000,000
Each Occurrence: $2,000,000
Personal and Advertising Injury: $2,000,000
Damage to Premises Rented to You: $300,000 Any One Premises
Medical Payments: $10,000 Any One Person

My question: now that I have the CGL Insurance, can I exclude Personal Liability on my fire/dwelling policies?

Thanks very much !

1. Are the properties owned under an LLC?
2.  To clarify.  You have a business policy and then your Personal policy for your house and personal liability?  If this is the case talk with your insurance agent.  You’re probably not covered by your Personal policy on your investment properties.  If you are , then it is probably very expensive.
