Newbie Looking for Ways to Connect in Detroit (Conferences/Organizations/etc.)

Hello! Myself and some friends recently entered the work force post college and have begun saving for our first property. While we're saving and learning the space online, I'm hoping to get out in the field and network to see if I can make valuable connecitons and bolster my learning efforts. We're primarily interested in purchasing in/around Detroit area (home for us) and so connecting with some locals in the industry would help us better understand the local market and influence our strategy. Anyone know of any good events, organizations, conferences, or have any general advice on how to network locally in this industry? Thanks!
