What flooring is best for bedrooms?

I need to replace the flooring in my rental. I’m planning to put luxury vinyl plank in main living areas and bathrooms, but I’m wondering if I should put it in the bedrooms or choose carpet? 

The home is only 1100 ft.², so I think having the same flooring throughout will make it feel bigger and of course LVP is more durable. Just wondering if most tenants still expect carpet in bedrooms or prefers the cleanliness of LVP. 

Also- does anyone have experience with the life proof LVP brand? If so, have you found it to be a good quality?
