Hi all, I'm curious to know if there's such a big back log in Memphis eviction cases. I have a property going through that in 38127. Filed mid of May 2025 and haven't had a court date after over 3 months. Thanks!

I agree with Doug - that timeline is not following what I am seeing. 2 - 4 weeks for court date.

Great question @Bryan Nguyen. I asked 3 property managers in our office and they said 3 months is way too long right now. They're seeing about 2-3 weeks to get an eviction court date in Memphis. In the past, there have been seasons where there is a big backlog such as during Covid or more recently when there was some key employee turnover in the courts. Thankfully, everything is running smooth right now. It sounds like something else might be going on with your case.
