Just trying to plan out the spring a little bit! If there is going to be another summit this year, any news on when it will be?

Thanks!

Hey Josh,

Hopefully the other Josh will chime in.

We talked the other day and he mentioned possibly April but nothing set in stone yet as I was wondering the same thing.

Last I heard there will be another summit in 2013. I think Josh mentioned April (tax-time) as the time frame he was looking at but was still working on locking in firm dates. I am anticipating more news very soon!

I'm sure there are many things to consider when setting the dates. Hotel availability, peak times for events like ours, and a host of things that I'm not aware of.

I hope to go to one of these events at some point.

Hey Guys -
We're working on it . . . hopefully in the coming weeks we'll have some things locked down. For the moment, it looks like we're talking mid-april in Denver.

As soon as I have details, so will you.

How about late spring/early summer lol??? I.e. when I will be back from deployment? Last year I was on the East Coast for a few weeks of training and missed it.

Tiger, you must have counted the same vote I did, it always comes out to be Vegas!

I really pushed for a different venue, not sure about the inner workings of Josh and company. A different venue would be nice. I can see how staying local to Josh is easier for him, but I am quite sure we could get enough volunteer help to make a different venue happen.

I just returned from my office on the 60th floor of the Cosmopolitan last night. Hated to leave work! :)

I just emailed my contact at the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority because I was promised proposals this week from venues in town and have yet to see a single one. It is astonishing.

Hopefully CCing her boss on the email will help her get the message that I'm not pleased.

That is only one of many possibilities Josh. Most of the hotels have large convention areas for functions just like yours. Guessing cost would be a factor not only for you but for attendees, the RIO could be a great choice. They have the room for your event and the rooms are not only great, but well priced, especially now that Vegas is "hurting".

Vegas baby!! What was the cost per person in 2012, just for the summit itself?

Guys -
Quick update. This thing is definitely not happening in April; we're looking at September or October. Just making sure people aren't worrying about their Spring schedules.

As for the conference in 2012, the price ranged from $150 up to $250 depending on the time you bought the tickets.

Thanks Josh
