Real Estate- Showing agent- Full time position
Not your average leasing position!
GC Realty & Development LLC in Roselle, IL is seeking to hire a full-time Residential Showing agent to manage leasing process of assigned properties on the Chicago North side, Chicago South side, and Chicago Downtown plus south suburbs such as: Hazel Crest, Calumet City, Palos Heights, Chicago Heights,etc).
Our Residential Showing Agent agent earns a competitive salary of $15 per hour + commissions + bonuses + benefits + a company car*. If you already have a leasing license, that's awesome! If you do not have a leasing license but are still confident that you can excel in this position, do not worry! You will get the license and we will pay for it!
*After the first 60 days, you will get to use the company car. No spending on gas and maintenance!
You coordinate the weekly showing schedule based on inventory available, pre-walk vacant units and obtain marketing pictures, open doors for prospective tenants at vacant units, and provide Property Manager and Owner feedback of why a property isn't leasing. Your customer is both the internal property management team and the prospects searching for properties. You respond to leads in a timely manner providing expert-level knowledge of the properties and exemplary customer service. You will work hand in hand with the Property Manager to ensure homes/units get leased with a sense of urgency. You effectively communicate using a variety of communication tools. You also prepare and get leases executed and coordinate initial funds to be paid and inspect the property prior to the move in for quality control issues. You are able to develop new systems, procedures or ideas on how to improve service and profitability.
Qualifications:
- -Valid Illinois real estate leasing license (current or needs to be obtained within 120 days)
- -Experience with leases, contracts, section 8/HUD guidelines
- -Customer Service oriented with strong negotiation skills
- -Strong analytical, critical, and financial skills
