Non-Profit - Down Payment Funds Needed

Hello All,

I am the president of Haven of Hope Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that provides shared and community housing to women who are at risk of becoming homeless. Recently, our organization has been tasked with opening a new home to provide safe and dignified housing to homeless patients who are currently undergoing life-saving medical treatments, recuperating from serious illness, injury, or surgery or needing essential hospice services.

At this time our foundation is trying to purchase a home through seller finance at 4.5% interest, with a $53,000 down payment required. We currently have donors willing to pledge $20,000 but we’re still in need of raising the remaining $33,000 for the down payment.

For this purpose, I’m posting on this professional platform to inquire if anyone may have any ideas or know the best practices for obtaining funds for a down payment? I thought some of you may know someone who can help or know of a funding program that may fit our needs.
