Aspiring Flipper in Portland/Vancouver – Will Trade Sweat Equity for Mentorship

Hey BiggerPockets community,

I’m looking to connect with an experienced house flipper or investor in the Portland/Vancouver area who might be open to an intern-style mentorship.

I know that finding a free mentor is rare, and I’m not here expecting someone to teach me for nothing. Instead, I want to approach this with the mindset of offering value first. My goal is to be helpful from day one, whether that means:

  • Helping with demo or cleanup

  • Running supply errands

  • Tracking timelines or materials

  • Organizing job sites

  • Or just doing whatever makes your life easier

I work full-time, but I can commit 2–3 evenings a week and some weekends. I have my own transportation, a strong work ethic, and a deep respect for the time and knowledge of people who’ve built this business the hard way.

I’m aiming to buy my first flip property within the next 6–8 months, and I want to make that leap responsibly, by learning directly from someone who's doing it right. I’ve been studying the fundamentals, but I know nothing beats boots-on-the-ground experience. That’s why I’m offering my time and labor in exchange for the chance to observe, ask the occasional question, and get a real-world education.

If you’re someone who values initiative and could use an extra set of hands, I’d love to connect. DM me or comment below, happy to buy coffee and chat first.
