Anyone have recommendations for a good high yield savings account for an emergency fund as a college student?

@Austin Glenn Welcome to BP! Many institutions are offering 4-4.5% on savings accounts. You won't be able to write checks so pick one that works for you and get one that is FDIC insured. If you key it into a browser window you will get several suggestions. All the best!

If you have an acct with Vanguard. Fidelity, Schwab, etc their money markets are paying over 4%.

I wouldn't open an acct with some nobody for an extra .2% or whatever @Austin Glenn

I use Interactive Brokers for my clients and it is as high as 4.58% right now but you have to look at their pricing on their website for what amount your particular balance of cash would yield. Can you get 5% with other financial instruments if you look here and there, sure.
