handyman, plumber, electrician, contractor in the Detroit area.
I am looking for a handyman, plumber, electrician, contractor in the Detroit area. Most of the properties I have are in the city. Recommendations would be greatly appreciated. It's not easy finding reliable servicemen... Do have an immediate need.

@Tyrone Noble, @Jaycee Greene we've got people that handle all that for our clients.
For a DIY, you'll need to find your own sources. A few things to keep in mind:
1) At least 50% of handymen in City of Detroit only work for cash. A DIY owner can pay cash, a PMC cannot.
2) Another 25% of handymen in City of Detroit only do "handshake" bids. They won't put anything in writing. May work for DIY owner, doesn't work for a PMC.
3) You can always contact big companies, but expect big bills! Someone's got to pay for all the advertising, office space, etc!
4) You can try Craigslist, Angi, etc., but often get hacks that don't show up on time, take forever to finish, do crappy work and NEVER come back to fix their mistakes.
5) The "Chuck in a truck" small guys you problably want, that charge a decent price for decent work, only work thru word-of-mouth. So, you can only find them by networking, or:
--- Camp out at a local Home Depot 6am-8am on a Saturday morning.
You can also try joining invite-only FB Grou: Metro Detroit Real Estate Investors, but the quality of referrals/members has nosedived over last 2 years:(
