Should I place 4 inch led recessed lighting or 6 inch?

Hi BP,

I have an open concept kitchen and living room area. My ceilings are about 8 ft high, the entire space is 16 x 21 feet. Which led lights are better for open concepts, 4 inch leds or 6 inch leds? 

Also, I'm debating adding a ceiling fan in the living room space cause there isn't much air from outside. What do you guys think?
