property management dead bolt lock choice
The new property manager installed new re-keyable locks on the exterior doors. The door handle is a closet knob(no key) with a keyed deadbolt. The issue I have is the deadbolt is keyed on both the interior and exterior side so you have to use a key to both lock and unlock the house from the interior. It seems the interior side of the lock should not be keyed but be operable with a turnable latch. In the event of a fire, the tenant would have to use the key to open the door and exit.

Tom just for future reference I suggest using kwikset locks. These are extremely convenient
