Great Interview from Pricelabs with

Great interview with Becca Madigan from PriceLabs, along with Matt Nielson from Pricing Pro and Omar Moreno from Purple Pricing — all heavy hitters in the revenue management world.

One thing that really stood out (and I hadn’t known was available) was the ability to set a separate minimum price just for last-minute bookings in PriceLabs. You do have to reach out to PL to enable this feature.

Matt also shared a smart approach: figure out your variable costs first, then build your absolute lowest acceptable price from there. Makes a ton of sense.

📺 It’s a long watch, but honestly packed with golden nuggets. I challenge you to carve out the time — it’s worth it.

P.S. Hospitable is rolling out their dynamic pricing. Their goal is to simplify dynamic pricing. However, for us geeks who want to monitor ADR, RevPar, and last booking date, I wish they would have a geek model available. The savings are beckoning to me though...

Thoughts?
