How many days does an expired SFH listing need to be off the Alabama MLS before it can be relisted as a "New Listing?" I'm hearing 30 days, but can anyone confirm this? Preferably with a link from an official source? Google isn't helping me here!

Not sure. Just call AREC. Good question.

MLS is a function of the local Assn of Realtors. Call them. They set the rules. Not the Alabama Real Estate Commission.

Thanks—after a little digging I found out that in Birmingham if you stick with the same company ( even if a different broker), it is 30 days off the MLS before it can be relisted as a New Listing. Otherwise, it can become a New Listing right away with a different company.
