Hey, how’s everyone doing?

Currently living on a tuna boat flying helicopters and won’t be back to Texas for another year and sporadically get internet. When I get back I’m planning on making the Killeen area my primary investment area.

I also plan on house hacking by buying a duplex when I get back with a VA loan. I currently have a house in killeen with a VA loan that I'm renting out so I'll be looking for a different area to buy my duplex. I've thought about Corpus Christi area or Austin area due to having friends and family in those areas but don't know those markets and open to other suggestions and advice.

Looking forward to being part of this community and learning from everyone and eventually helping other rookies.

@Doug Spence I can still use the VA loan to buy another house. The issue I have might be distance from where my current house is. I have to refinance my house for a different reason so I'm going to have to compare loans and look at getting cash out of it since I have a lot of equity in it.
