Hello from Northern Arizona!

Samuel Simmons
Posted

Hi, I am a newbie to both real estate investing and BiggerPockets. I live in Flagstaff, Arizona, and currently own a home with my partner, and am looking to begin investing in buy and hold rental properties, single and/or multi-family. So far, I have not come across any in-person ways to meet other investors/find mentors and partners. With the high prices of homes in my area, my lack of money to invest, and rental prices that cannot produce a deal worth chasing, I have decided to start looking elsewhere to invest, mainly Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona. Any advice or help is greatly appreciated and I am all ears for ways I could help others to form symbiotic relationships, as I know that no one likes a parasite! Thank you.

2 things that have gotten me started:

1. BiggerPockets podcasts, youtube videos, and books, including Nothing Down by Robert G. Allen.

2. My main mentor and best friend: Erik Egelko - San Diego's finest commercial real estate agent and savvy real estate investor.
