My name is Noah Francis, and while I have been a dedicated listener of the Bigger Pockets and Real Estate Rookie podcasts for some time, I’m new to real estate investing. I'm currently in the process of purchasing my first property in the Houston, Texas market. I’m looking to understand the most effective strategies currently being employed by investors in Houston and want to ensure that I make an informed decision as I move forward with my investment.

    @Noah Francis

    Welcome, Noah!

    Houston is an exciting market—tons of growth and strong long-term potential with that explosive population boom!

    Since you're in it for the long haul, are you open to single-family homes (SFHs) as part of your strategy?

    Curious—what investment strategies have you considered so far? Will you be handling property management yourself, or are you looking to outsource that? And is this a property you’re planning to flip, or strictly hold?

    There are so many factors that go into choosing the right investment path. A good place to start is by asking:
    Are you focused on immediate cash flow, long-term appreciation, and equity, or a balance of both?
