Newbie Introduction to the BP family

Hello everyone. My name is Moe Collins and I'm excited to start getting involved in real estate. I am a local business owner here in New Hampshire and have been admiring real estate from a distance for about 5 years now. Slowly learning and gaining confidence along the way. I am most interested in multifamily, but would love to get into a BRRRR situation as well. I have several clients that are service providers in the housing industry (framing, plumbers, electrical, property managers, etc) and feel I could excel in real estate to provide a stable and limitless future for my family.

    @Moe Collins,
    Love your intro—you’re clearly laying the groundwork the right way. Watching real estate from the sidelines for five years while running a business and building a network of housing-related pros puts you in a fantastic position to finally jump in with confidence.

    Your interest in multifamily and BRRRR makes total sense, especially with your network of service providers. That's a huge edge if you decide to go the value-add route.

    That said, since you're still gaining confidence and momentum, I’d also recommend keeping turnkey rentals on your radar as a potential first move.

    Why Consider Turnkey Rentals First?
    They’re fully renovated, already rented, and usually professionally managed

    Great for learning how to analyze deals, manage property managers, and understand market dynamics with low risk

    It allows you to start building cash flow and equity immediately—without the stress of a renovation on your first go

    It doesn’t mean you’re abandoning BRRRR or multifamily. You’re just starting with a clean, manageable deal so that your first experience is smooth, builds confidence, and creates a stepping stone for more complex deals down the line.

    You’re Already Ahead of the Game
    With your local contacts, business mindset, and long-term vision, you’ve got everything it takes to build something meaningful for your family through real estate. The key now is taking that first, low-risk step that gets you in the game and compounds over time.

    If you'd like, I can share some example turnkey markets or walk you through what to look for in a quality provider.

    Glad you’re here, and excited to see where this journey takes you!

    Best of luck,

    Melissa Justice
