@Kenton Moyer welcome to BP.

That is a great goal. However consider this; without W-2 income you cannot contribute to an IRA or other retirement account. There may come a time when you would want to invest in other assets tax free through your IRA, 402K etc. That might even include forms of Real estate to avoid capital gains.
