Hi bigger pockets I’m new to the forum and investing ,I want point of views if I should rent out my primary home and raise up the payment to a future tenant, collect the difference for cash flow or sell my home, collect the home equity and downgrade my primary and buy a multi or smaller homes to rent out, I would love the honest feedback.

Honestly, if you’re okay dealing with tenants and maintenance, renting out your primary home can give you extra cash flow while keeping your equity. But if you want to scale faster and reduce stress, selling, downsizing, and using that equity to buy multi-family or a few smaller rentals usually grows your portfolio quicker.
