Carlos Frias is the vice president of business development for Hart Advisors Group, a real estate advisory firm that specializes in CMBS loan restructures and loan assumptions. Based in the firm's Dallas office, Mr. Frias develops new business, manages client relations and works with the Hart team to advance the goals and objectives of its clients.
Prior to joining Hart, Mr. Frias did business development for a national CMBS loan restructure and capital firm. He has extensive experience in commercial loan originations, including his position as principal and mortgage broker for CHF Real Estate Corp., where he originated commercial mortgages across all asset classes. In addition, Mr. Frias was the vice president of loan originations at BMC Capital, where he originated small balance commercial mortgages across all asset classes. He was consistently ranked as one of the top originators during his tenure at BMC.
Mr. Frias has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of North Texas. He was a sergeant in the United States Marine Corp before being honorably discharged. Mr. Frias holds a Texas Real Estate Salesman’s license.
