Starting Out - Real Estate Investment

I'm looking to get into real estate as an alternative way of investing. As of now most of my investments are in the market. Being new to the industry, what would you all consider an entry level investment to get my feet wet?

I am always open to new ideas and conversations.

Hello Joe,

Welcome to BiggerPockets. Real estate is good asset to add to your investment portfolio. In order to answer your question you need to ask yourself if you want to be an active or passive investor? If you truly want to be passive I think REITS would suit you best, since you're already familiar with investing in the market. REITS work similar to stocks. If you want to be active, then maybe flip a house, but I'm not sure if that's truly entry level. There are many other ways to invest in real estate besides what I mentioned, and there are tons of people on this site who you can reach out to who have succeeded in them. Good luck on your endeavors.

Sincerely,
