Investing in Lexington Vs. Louisville

I'm an investor living in Northern CA who grew up in Lexington, KY. I've been considering expanding my investment reach to Louisville. Anyone investing in both areas? What do you think are the pro's / con's of each city? My focus has been in Lexington because of my familiarity with the area, but Louisville seems to have more options in the small multi-family investing (my preference!). I want to hear from all of YOU!

@Emily Beatty After experience investing in both, I personally prefer Lexington primarily due to my thoughts that it has a better future than Louisville but both markets have great investments out there. One thing I will say I have found very different about the Louisville market is that you have to be much more cognizant of which neighborhoods you are investing in, i.e. much higher crime.
