I Need Help

Stevie Dickson
Posted

I am interested in NEW CONSTRUCTION. I live in Waco, Texas. I desire to get into BUILDING --to sell. I don't have much money, maybe about $200k. My problem is that I cant find any source that will teach me how to manage a new build from beginning to end. I have looked for individuals who are actually doing what I desire, for creditible books that are extremely detailed or for real life hands on programs/courses. I can't seem to find anything. I have worked for years to save up my money to be able to invest this way. And, I feel like if I'm not careful, because of becoming impatient, I may make a move in haste and just start the 1st project without the proper knowledge. It would be awful to waste the money I had spend years saving up. At 56, I dont want to start all over and take more years saving money because I moved in error. Yet,  Im tired of waiting and looking for guidance. -If there is anyone with advice or that can direct me to someone/somewhere that I can learn to be my own General Contractor of my own new build, please do not hesitate to respond to this. It may well be life changing for me. My ideal situation would be to shadow a person who has ACTUALLY SUCCESSFULLY DID WHAT I DESIRE TO DO. Not looking for anything free, i would be willing to pay them for their time. Thanks in advance.
