Should I have gutter screens installed?
I have decided to have a gutter company install new seamless gutters after roof replacement on a SFH rental that is getting a new roof in the next 2 months. The best quote from a reputable gutter company was 1000 dollars for the whole gutter system, but with an option to pay 325 dollars extra for gutter screens. There is one medium size water oak in the back corner of the house, but no other trees that would cause much debris to go into the gutters. What do you think, should I get the optional gutter screens? Or do the gutter screens cause other issues that make them undesirable?
