Do buyers prefer free-range stoves over 30 inches Coil Electric Cooktops?  Trying to see if this cooktop should be replaced or not in this rehab.

@John Olu it depends.  In some markets the buyer wouldn't care bc the location or view is spectacular.  In others, 5+ burner gas is an absolute must.  Look at (like actually setup a showing) the relevant comps and see what they have. That will give you your answer;)

I go with the simplest method.  If the house has a gas line, do a nice gas range.  If it has a 220/240 outlet, use an electric range.  For electric I install the glass-top style.  (just my personal preference)

@John Olu in my state gas in a rental for a stove is a big no no. I prefer a nice glass cook top as they don’t make any attractive coil ones. My contractor yells at me over the glass cook tops but tenants love them.
