Thinking of starting a sewer lining business

Posted

I am a newer investor/agent. I have 4 doors and have rehabbed 5 properties. I have had to replace the sewer lateral in 3 out of the 5 properties and only one was collapsed. With the amount of money it costs to have a company come out and dig up and replace or line the sewer lateral, I can buy my own equipment and get certified. A huge perk would be, being able to line all my laterals in my current and future properties. I also feel like this would help me transition from my W2 to a full time real estate investor and do 2-4 jobs a month to make some good money. I have done almost all of the work in all of my rentals and am not afraid of full gut rehabs. I am curious to hear your feedback. In my county I do not have to be a plumber to do this type of work.
