Tax Sale Help

Hello,

I went through the list of 1,993 properties and have it scrubbed down to about 45 with my top 10. Now what do I do next? I have not driven by any of them yet. Do I do a title check? Do I go to the sale and hope for the best? I have never been to a sale before. Most of them owe about 1,500-2,000 I only have a little over 10,000 so i figured if I left with two I would be ecstatic. Thanks in advance for any help
