Anyone Have Reviews of NREI M5 Training w/James Smith?

Question

As the title implies, looking for reviews/and or comments. Was it worth the price of admission. Saw him at a Learning Annex in Philly a year ago. Thanks in advance.

I am new to this website so my response on the subject of James Smith and his M5 conference is way past the date of this posting that I am responding to.

Anyway I have attended an M5 conference. The whole purpose of the conference is the presentation of quick study seminars that focus on various real estate forms of investment. For example Rehabbing, trailor parks, mini storage, creative finance using notes, asset protection etc etc. It is designed to inform you that there are many types of real estate and the big push is for the mentoring and one on one coaching available from James Smith's hand picked students as mentors and coaches. It is a 5 day session on upselling expensive RE training. You would have to be the judge on whether it would be worth it to pay for expensive coaching. The rehab expert at the M5 I went to boasted that he would guarantee a 100-200k profit on a flip all you had to do was commit to a few weeks of your time at a boot camp and part with $12,000 for his fee. He was specializing at the time with flips in Pheonix and would joint venture as well - although I suspect he wouldnt be putting up a dime for his share.

I found that these types of events arent really about how much knowledge you can gain but who you meet. While I was their I met another investor who was from Florida who offered me the opportunity of private lending $250,000 on a flip. I am from Canada so I obviously put him on my list of possible lenders but at the moment I am not in a position to travel for two or three months long distance to do a flip - all though I am tempted to try it at least once in the not so distant future.

James Smith is great to listen too, but I find that he isnt any different than any of the other seminar gurus. Every seminar I have ever attended gives a small little piece of the puzzle, usually the same piece and try almost desperatley to up sell there expensive coaching.

I have not attended the M5 yet as I am a slow learner. I have attended several of the 3 day seminars and they are well worth the price.

Wow, that wasn't rude or anything. It's to bad we have people like this to surround us. Love the encouragement. 
          
          I did do one deal and I ended up having to move into it because my room mate died. Im working on the others now.
          
          It doesnt mean you didnt learn anything.  So your saying all advice on this forum is bogus because its just "Information" and until you personally put it to use and it "Works" then you didnt learn anything except practicing your reading skills? So i guess we should all just leave the site because its a bunch of garbage? 
          
          Or maybe its because "Investors so good as yourself" are selfish jerks who shouldn't be investors and leave people looking for help to search for a company to help us because "YOU" wont spread the information to help someone in need seeking the same thing you are. 
          
          Or maybe you are such a Genious because in your profile it says you have completed " 2 "deals..... and you have been working for your parents on properties since you were a kid and FINALLY decided to take the plunge so your jelous that im half the age you are when i started... Could be. All i know, is its people like this that dont deserve to be in this country.
          
By the way, your post should be deleted because the person who started the post was asking for "reviews/comments" which i gave and you "tried" to smash.

I just took a look at your profile - ZERO deals.  Go do a deal using the "so much" stuff you learned from this coaching operation.  Maybe then if you said how wonderful it was, it could actually be believed.  Otherwise, it appears that you were filled with "so much" not so worthwhile stuff, since there is no measureable result, AKA completed deal.

COuldnt end with that! Here are some responses. im a student right now and i have learned so much! I love thier help line. I went thrugh robert kiyosakis coaching before and his coach sucked! and the help line was horrible!
