Hi, while surfing local community sites I found a non-profit credit counseling site. People who had received notices of demand and facing foreclosure were asking about their options.

The thought occured to be to offer advice as well. Having a site that covers the personal finance arena in your local area could be very beneficial. If one were to team up with a CPA, an Insurance expert, an attorney, a stock broker and a credit counselor, you could be the real estate "expert" in your community. The other participants would need to see this as a committment, to answer questions and give advice in their area of expertise. Tie this network into a local into your local media, TV or radio, even newspaper. Since this is a community service, the media can help, perhaps with a link to your site. There has to be a meeting of the minds between your network of experts, otherwise the attorney will have one opinion like take bankruptcy, the credit counselor will say consolidate debt and you may have another opinion! At least know the turf of the principal players!

The site I visited (and joined by the way) people were seeking alternatives and advice. It allowed PM too, between members (might want to think about that one) and you can simply contact the party asking for help. I contacted two and got one email back within the day.

Comments? Ideas? Good luck, Bill
