Request for Information for my University Research Study

Evan Daryl Reyes
Posted

Hello Property Managers,

I am currently an MBA Student at the International Business University in Toronto, Canada. I have a research study regarding a business venture for property management software and finding its product market fit. I am in dire need of data, and your information and feedback will be greatly appreciated.

I am trying to find the answer to these 10 questions:

Q1: How efficient are your daily property management operations, and which tasks could benefit from simplification or automation?

Q2: How do you typically communicate with tenants, and what challenges do you face in maintaining tenant satisfaction?

Q3: What are your current leasing practices, and what are the main challenges in advertising, screening, and signing tenants?

Q4: How do you manage rent collection and financial reporting, and what issues arise with late payments or reconciliation?

Q5: What is your process for handling maintenance requests, tracking their status, and addressing recurring repair issues?

Q6: How is your property management team structured, and what tools or changes could improve their productivity and workload balance?

Q7: What are your expectations around the cost and value of property management software, and what pricing model do you prefer?

Q8: What improvements or technologies are you considering, and what results would define a successful operational upgrade?

Q9: What are your main goals for the next year, and what tools or support would most help you grow or improve your service?

You said 10 questions but I only see 9.

Apologies, I did not realize that immediately when I hit the post button.
