PM fees and STr strategy

had a question whether this makes sense. If the cash flow is zero or even negative after paying mortgage and the property manager for a short term rental, can I still consider it as an investment since I would likely get tax benefits? Is this a proper way of investment strategy?

It can make sense if you're playing the long game, banking on appreciation, tax benefits, and mortgage paydown. But I’d be careful. Negative cash flow adds risk, and things like vacancies or repairs can hurt. I usually recommend having at least a small cushion. If you're unsure, I'm happy to help run the numbers.
