BP Con First Timer

Hello everyone! This will be my first time going to BP Con. To get the most out of this experience, do anyone of you have any insight on which speakers to make sure to attend, things they would do differently has far as scheduling, etc.

I also noticed workshops were schedule on the first day (Oct 5th) Is it just registration and workshops that day?
