Short term rental on busy street

Posted Dec 1 2022, 09:35

Hello,

Was curious how a short term rental would perform if it’s on a busy street. I’ve looked on air dna for the estimate amount per month and it seems pretty high which is good, but I’m wondering if that amount is based off a home on a quiet street or does air dna take note of that if that makes sense? Thanks!

I believe Airdna is just pulling data from near by properties, not necessarily factoring in the street being busy or crowded.

Hey @Anna Delos Santos - I'd prefer to check the data myself on what other short term rentals are charging in the area.

Should probably also ask why the street is busy? If it's for shopping and tourists, good sign.

In my market, one of my direct competitors, the one that is doing the best on AirBnB, is on the main road for our area that all cars must go down and after seven months listed and 29 reviews, not a single guest has mentioned it in their review. This place stays booked.
