Has Anyone Used PadSplit for Their Rental? Considering It for My Houston STR

Hi everyone,

I’m exploring PadSplit as a potential option for my short-term rental property in the EaDo area of Houston. I recently spoke with one of their reps who mentioned they’re seeing weekly rates of $240–$250 for rooms without a private bathroom, and $267–$325 for rooms with a private bath. They also claimed near 100% occupancy with an average tenant stay of 7 months.

It sounds promising, but also a bit too good to be true—especially for a platform I haven’t seen many people talk about.

Has anyone here actually listed a property with PadSplit? If so, what has your experience been like in terms of income, vacancy rate, tenant quality, maintenance, and overall management? I'd really appreciate any insights before moving forward.
