Hey BP!

I've had cats destroy a couple faux-leather couches recently, so looking for insight on the best couch material for longevity. Also, I realize the best answer to my question is, "don't allow pets".  ;)

Thank you!

Hi! We have cats and allow pets at our medium-term rentals. I have found that the best material is a performance velvet or tight weave, where they can't get their nails in and the hair doesn't get stuck in the fabric. We've had good luck with couches from Article. At my own house we have a high performance velvet couch and we put a scratching post behind it.
