Looking to Connect with Agents & Investors in Lawrence, KS (Student Housing Near KU)

Hey everyone,

My little sister just started as a freshman at KU, and my parents and I are thinking about buying a place in Lawrence, Kansas. She’d live there while she’s in school and then we’d keep it as an investment property after she graduates.

We’re trying to get a feel for the market and would love any tips on:

- Which neighborhoods around KU that rent well?

- What type of property works best?

- Agents or local investors worth connecting with

If you’ve done the “buy a place for your kid in college and turn it into a rental” strategy, I’d love to hear how it worked out for you.

Appreciate any advice or connections!
