i told everyone i would let you know how it worked out. recieved rent check oct. 19 with a note lost on the desk . oh well i dont believe it, but we got the check. nephew has been moved out for 10 days, finally got the keys today.glad its all over. thanks for all of your help.

his dad tried to talk to him buthe is still bringing up the fact that we entered without permission, even though we apoligized and shook hands. i thought we had that issue settled. my brother wants to call sherrif and go over to drill locks out. he thinks its not right we are locked out of a house we own. he keeps telling me nephew would not treat mom{grandma} like that

i am the trustee. i did apoligize and thought everything was ok. nephew knew we were selling house and gave ok to put forsale sign in yard. now he is moving out nov 1, he bought a house. still has not paid october rent. there is no lease, grandma was renting to him to help him out. 3bedroom,1 bath, garage, on a double lot, nice neighborhood 400.00 per month. i thought since it was family it woukd not be a big deal, thats why i entered.

mother passed away rental now part of trust. nephew is renting. 6 weeks ago i entered without notice to check out house ,possibally to sell, left note out of courtsey. i thought every thing was ok.nephew went balistic, was going to call police because i invaded his privacy. i appoligized and told him i was sorry. put up forsale sign, got a call to see house, called and gave 24 hr. notice and was told he changed the locks and no one gets in unless he and his wife are there. basically we are locked out of our own house and he is dictating when we can show the house..............................two questions, does he have any legal case against me{his uncle} and what legal issuse do i have against him

yes mom owned house . now owned by trust. there is no lease that i know of, it was her grandson, my nephew. i am trustee

ok renter changed locks to house and only will lets us in when they are home to show house they are moving out starting sat. heres the bad part he is my nephew.....what recourse do we have. 2 weeks ago i did go in when they were not home but left note after all i am his uncle. house is part of moms estate we are trying to sell
