The time is now to take action. I keep having the thought of how great it would be to be a real estate investor. Being able to work for myself is something that really motivates me. The normal 9-5 trading your time for money is no longer for me. I refuse to be average. Which in today's society is being in debt and living pay check to pay check. I understand that real estate is risky. But I think be average is more risky. I no real estate isn't easy however waiting for Friday to come to buy groceries would be harder. People live there life's and I'm sure they have regrets. Thinking about the times they should have tried something or said yes. I already have a few in my lifetime. I don't want real estate to be one of those greats. The biggest risk I have right now is getting comfortable with my current situation and settling. Never wanting to better myself or improve my life. This is just a little bit of a rant and thoughts I have been having. That I needed to vent and say. I currently have two offers on two separate properties that are located by the beach. In hopes to make one a vacation property/ second home. I believe if I run it like a business I could turn it into a full time job for myself. That's my goal and that's what I will do! Time is the only thing in between.

Thanks for your opinion Mike, I really appreciate it.  I am still new to all of this I purchased my first home last year and now I'm looking into doing something with the equity.  I will continue to educate myself this site seems like the place to do so.  I was also concerned it being a 2/1 myself. Thanks again!

I have gone and looked at this home.  Seems to me that it has a lot of potential.  It would take some work and money to make into a rental. Such as new roof, carpet, counter tops, electrical cox, and paint of course.  Currently it is only up for owner occupant until the 25th.  If it gets open to all bidders i would love to make an offer and start my real estate investing journey.

Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your time, Tyler B.
