Thank you @BrettSynicky and @ElizabethC. It's really nice of you to answer my post.   Once I get my license I would love to have a mentor or team I could count on to pull me in the rite direction. 

The field I would like to master first is to become an agent and work for a brokerage firm. Using the MLS, advertising myself, door knocking, etc. which is a great start towards my career. My wife and thought about borrowing against our home and flipping houses. That is in the future, getting my license and learning hands on training is my priority at this time.

@BrettSynick what is FIBI? I live in Calabasas and not sure if they have meetings here or how far do I need to drive??

I don't have my license at this time, as I'm still finishing my exams, but I'm looking for someone to team up with. I live in the SoCal area and searching for a mentor who is looking for a dedicated, inspiring person like myself. I'm totally worth the investment just need to know more about hands on business.
