@Thomas Geary That does help. This is the first time I'm doing everything myself (Realtor, Owner, and Property Manager). I thought Wells Fargo would have had a specific type of account for security deposits like an EMD holding account or something. The banker said I could just use a business savings account.

What type of checking or savings account should I use for holding security deposits? Is there a special account I should set up for escrow? Should I have separate accounts for holding each security deposit?

My renter keeps getting the same message that his account needs to be reconnected.

He is also saying it won’t let him enter a dollar amount.

I’m looking to write an offer on a house in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. The home does not qualify for conventional financing due to needed repairs. I’m looking to write a seller financing offer with a 2 or 3 year balloon after I’ve made the repairs. Do I include all the financing terms in the offer or do I create a separate mortgage document? Are there any forms on bigger pockets I can use?
