Newbie here looking to purchase a property in either Queens or Brooklyn.  Have about 35K ready for a down payment but thinking it's not enough in NYC.  Was wondering if anyone had any advice for someone starting out in this area with similar finances.  Do I need to continue saving before actually purchasing my first property?
